I have Roy Williams (Playing Giants) Steve Smith (Playing Dallas, Led giants receiving in week 1)
Lee Evans (playing Bucs i think) Justin Gage (Playing Texans led titans in receiving) Or Michael Clayton (Playing Buffalo; Led the bucks receivers) Note: One is a flex WR/RB
I would play Roy Williams against NYG and Lee Evans against the Bucs. For your flex spot if you have the option of playing a RB I would. GL
What 3 wide receivers should I start?
Posted by admin | Under Steve Clayton Saturday Feb 6, 2010How do I go about presenting a sales and marketing plan via email to business owner but protect my idea?
Posted by admin | Under Sales Marketing Saturday Feb 6, 2010I have what I beleive to be a good sales and marketing plan for a new type of business. I have spoken to the owner and he ask for any Ideas I had for both in our first conversation over the phone. My goal is to implement the plan and work as an independant agent with his company. I have given ideas to others before and they have used them to make money and did not include me in the profits. I don’t want this to happen again. He seems honest but "once burned" as they say. I want to protect myself, but I also really want him to see my plan because this is an industry I want to get into and feel this is my chance. How do I go about letting him look at the plan but insure if it is used without me I have legal recourse. I do not want to be to forceful in having him sign some big legal contract after only one conversation.
I’d be really surprised if you have a revolutionary idea in sales and marketing. It’s impossible for me to believe that with 8 billion people on this planet and billions of pages of information on the internet that no one in the history of mankind has ever thought of your idea. If it’s this unique, I would patent it, sell it myself, and make millions. If it’s not, just make your suggestion and see if they would finance the rollout.
Who are the United kingdom new niche market fashion designers?
Posted by admin | Under Niche Marketing Saturday Feb 6, 2010Which is the best University for doing Marketing related online certification course ?
Posted by admin | Under Marketing Online Saturday Feb 6, 2010I want to know which is the best university for doing online certification course in the subjects of Advertising or Marketing Communication or Strategic Marketing or Marketing Research?? Please help…
There are tons of online programs. I personally attended American Intercontinental Univ. and Capella University, and have taught for various online schools including the University of Phoenix. All are accredited and solid programs. Online courses tend to vary in price, so we could say they are more expensive, but that is relative. Of course they are more expensive than a community college, but less expensive than Harvard. The price range varies.
The key is to find a program that is fully accredited. Is it worth it? YES. My career has boomed since my MBA at nearly 5 years ago. I am close to finishing my PhD through distance education, and I am at the job that I want. I know I wouldn’t be here without the education. If you are looking at work in the U.S., then you need a school that is accredited and recognized by the Dept of Ed. I can give more info on that later.
You should market yourself and not the degree or university. There are many traditional universities offering degrees that can be earned through online methods. Distance Learning Alliance has a list of these traditional online schools. Look at that if you are truly concerned with the name of the school. Good luck on your search!
Where can I find Market Research companies in California?
Posted by admin | Under Market Research Saturday Feb 6, 2010I have created a survey for unemployed college students and I am trying to get them to answer it. Are there Market Research firms out there in California or elsewhere where I can give my survey to them and pay them some money to connect with students to answer this survey for me?
I’ve been out of school for sometime now and I need to get my survey out to students. Any ideas?
Manta (dot) com has a pretty comprehensive list of market research firms in California– you can organize them by city as well. It shows 138 total so I won’t list them all here. Each listing has a contact name and phone number, and well as a bunch of other free profile info.

How to transition from Sales to Marketing?
Posted by admin | Under Sales Marketing Wednesday Feb 3, 2010Recently I learned of an opportunity to join a GREAT company as a Marketing Analyst in charge of print advertising. I know first hand (someone close to me works there, and formerly held this role) that most of the applicants are recent college grads with little to no "real-life" job experience but have the degree. I on the other hand am still working on my degree but have TONS of work experience. I have held a number of types of jobs ranging from Apartment Manager to Accountant to (most recently) Sales as I have been in the work force for the last 13 years.
In each of the roles I’ve held, there has been elements of marketing – i.e. desktop publishing, Market Research and studys, competitor comparisons, etc. and of course in sales I’ve developed a number of skills as well.
The person hiring (I’ve already talked with him) is asking me to tailor my resume to highlight my skills from a marketing perspective…and I’m stuck. Can anyone offer any advice?
First, congrats… on the opportunity you’ve opened to yourself and the courage to pursue a career change.
Second, when I’m hiring people I am first/foremost concerned with enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Skills can be taught, self-motivation and initiative can not. So from this perspective, of for a marketing analysis job, you might want to develop a story/theme about how you identified a need, quantified the opportunity, determined what their "pain points" were, and what the results were.
Thirdly – given the job you’re pursuing, there are a couple terms you might want to include in your resume that people will be looking for – CPM and ROI for example. You might also want to include some computer tools/skills, including databases such as a CRM or SFA. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is probably a pre-requisite – a couple hours using the online help & tutorials to brush up your skills are worthwhile. Lastly, you might want to do a search in Monster.com for some example resumes of people in a similar situation.
Finally – keep up your positive feeling about your experience as a positive differentiator rather than a handicap! You’ve obviously got a lot to offer, so continue letting that strength come thru in your interviews.
Good luck!
If you were to start a temporary staffing agency, what niche field would it be in?
Posted by admin | Under Niche Marketing Wednesday Feb 3, 2010I’m interested in starting a staffing company and would like to fill a niche in a market for employment. Everyone does finance or administrative. What is one that you haven’t seen or don’t see enough of? If you’re unemployed and in a niche market, what is it?
Going into tax season, I’d do tax preparers. I’d find a way to tier my workers (CPA’s on top, EA’s in the middle, and experienced non-certifieds at the bottom). I’d also group them by experience (either individual, payroll or business depending on what they’ve done).
Everyone needs their taxes done, so you have a good chance at high volume for 4 months to get you going.
Where can I find marketing volunteers online? I have an online gift and novelty business.?
Posted by admin | Under Marketing Online Wednesday Feb 3, 2010Where can I find marketing volunteers online? I have an online gift and novelty business. I am also a Realtor in New York City and I need marketing help in both fields.
Volunteers are hard to find because they do it for free, and most GOOD marketers are to busy to offer their time for free. Check out some of the freelance sites online like freelancebbs.com or freelancebank.com etc. You may find one or two people who will at least point you in the right direction for free.
