Interested to know the marketing strategies advertisers use to profit?
Sometime, the easy methods produce better results than difficult tasks.
I suggest you to start with the following tips and take your favorite one:
Offer your customers back-end products. It is
easier to sell to existing customers. If you do not
have a back-end product, join an affiliate program.
Design your site so it will be worth bookmarking.
Your visitors will bookmark your web site if it’s full
of free original content like articles, ebooks, etc.
Increase the perceived value of your product.
You could offer an affiliate program, give away free
bonuses or use famous endorsements on your ad.
Remind your visitors to promote your web site.
Use phrases like; “Refer This Our Web Site To A
Friend” or “Link To Our Web Site”
Team-up with your weaker competitors to beat
your stronger competitors. You can create win/win
joint venture and cross promotion deals with them.
Up-sell to all your customers. You could sell add-
on products, deluxe products, extra parts, related
products, add-on services, etc.
Make your testimonials more powerful. You can
include pictures, hand written signatures and contact
information with each testimonial.
Use permission marketing to increase your sales.
You simply ask people to sign-up to your e-mailing
list. They’ll already be interested in messages or ads.
Place your ad in targeted e-zines. Ask the owner
if you could place your ad in a higher position in
exchange for a percentage of the ad’s profits.
Do not forget to test and track your results. Always.
In my opinion, these tips are profitable marketing strategies advertisers use.

Travelers interested in taking a niche cruise can now learn about the variety of such products available and also locate a travel agent who specializes in niche cruises through a comprehensive website.
The Niche Cruise Marketing Alliance has unveiled a new, user friendly website at www.nichecruise.com that not only provides information about the unique cruise products offered by the organizations 14 member lines but assists consumers in locating a travel agent that specializes in niche cruises.
Niche cruises provide more intimate experiences than the mass market cruise lines. These products sail to many remote destinations that are inaccessible to larger vessels and feature unique learning experiences and ambience. They sail to locales where ones traveling companions may be exotic wildlife or breathtaking scenery. Niche cruise ships may be anchored next to sea lions or iguanas, at the base of a tidewater glacier, in the historic center of the great cities of the world or place the guest sailing the blue waters of the yachtsmans Caribbean.
The new website directs consumers to certified Niche Cruise Specialists so they can be served by a travel agent who is knowledgeable in exploring these unique vacation options.
On the website, each member line is supported with a brief description of the type of product they offer, but also contains contact information and links to the websites for each of the 14 individual lines.
Visitors to the website can enter their zip code and find Niche Cruise Specialists (travel agents who have completed the NCMA training seminar) close to their home. Niche Cruise Specialists can also be located by entering the agent or agency name or the name of city where the agency is located.
Using the Destination Map feature on the site, visitors can click on the part of the world that they would like to explore and the site will show them what cruise lines offer experiences to that location.
While most travelers think of cruising as sun and fun experiences with thousands of fellow passengers, NCMA includes a myriad of cruise lines that meet the diverse needs and interests of the increasingly sophisticated traveler.
Personal enrichment and environmental preservation are high on the agendas of niche cruise lines. Therefore, NCMA lines are heavily destination-focused with unique itineraries and shore excursions.
The organization is a collection of cruise lines that provide some of the finest travel experiences available today, with the common thread of offering an exciting alternative to traditional cruising. The diverse sailings offer the discriminating traveler alternatives to the standard Caribbean cruise or the typical mass-market cruise, providing a plethora of unique adventures on waterways around the world.
NCMA member lines include American Cruise Lines, American West Steamboat Company, Antarctic Dream Expeditions, Cruise West, Discovery World Cruises, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Galapagos Explorer II (Canodros), Imperial Majesty Cruises, Imperial River Cruise Lines, Norwegian Coastal Voyage, Orion Expedition Cruises, Peter Deilmann Cruises, RiverBarge Excursion Lines and Star Clippers.
The NCMA office is in Bellevue, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. Executive Director Lawrence Dessler can be reached by telephone at 425.867.0399, fax at 425.867.0589 or e-mail at NicheCruise@msn.com For more information, visit www.nichecruise.com

This is where it all starts
Whether the advice is to be taken or not, businessmen agree that no business has survived successfully without passion. Passion is an emotional issue. Businesses likewise and the creation of products that will sustain the business has to start with what one knows best.
Business styles and approaches are as varied as the number of businessmen. Each according to techniques dictated by the circumstances and responses allowing each to make decisions and deviations. There are however proven methods common to all businesses and its corresponding creation of products.
Brick by brick.
Like all things created the actual work starts with very careful planning.
Get down and write. Do a blueprint of the product you have in mind. Getting down to it brings you face to face with your ideas. What was formerly abstract comes to you alive. Now you can do additions to it, deductions from it, enhancements, study it from all possible angles do revisions and alterations or sometimes do a total rewrite until what previously was an idea has now taken form.
Take your time and enjoy your plan. Rushing will only create an undesired result.
Be Specific – Make precision your keyword. Do not forget to include the following in your list of questions. What is its purpose? What do you plan to achieve.
Product creation addresses a particular need that may not be in the market. If a similar product already does, your version still has to offer something new that will spark interest and address a particular viable alternative to the existing one. The more popular the product is already available, the better it will do for your products introduction into the market and its eventual acceptance.
Product creation should target a particular segment of the market. While shotgun approaches can work, it is often best to identify a product with a smaller segment i.e. what age bracket do you want to attract, Male or female, what are the class/status of your targeted customers, what styles, what components. This will help you stay focused.
Go for the jugular.
If you are a shopper you can see that creating a new product can easily get lost in the jungle of goods already available. If you visit on line shopping, you may think that all products available for consumption can already be there. But the dream nags at you. You know it can be done. So what are the elements that could increase your products chance at penetrating the market?
Try niche marketing. Niche marketing is about placing your product in a special category that addresses a particular desire. Some strategies that are tested that somehow finds places in consumers hearts for example, are; low carbohydrates, low calorie, high protein, sugar free, non fat, energy releasing, long life, long lasting, value for money and the list goes on. Niche Marketing makes your product extra specific for people with specific needs.
What’s in a name.
The hard part is over. It is now time to give your product a name.
One point to consider though, words elicits ideas. If one for example mentions a dark cloud coming, an idea immediately comes to mind of colder fronts or a rain coming or even a storm. The person does not even have to go outside and see for himself. The idea is there. On the other hand, take away the word and immediately, the idea loses its distinction. It loses identity it becomes nothing.
This is why names are so very important. So are labels. So are packaging.
Easy to memorize short names does wonders for the product especially when packaging are appropriately attractive. Sometimes, no matter what other people say a good and catchy dot com. attracts traffic to your product as it can enhance its perceived value.
Say that again.
Constant repetition. Top of mind recall. That is what the battle is all about. This is why marketing firms go to lengths at spending on advertisements. For many products however, newsletter and brochures work.
Get out from here.
You have it all on the launch pad; you can almost see it getting off. The channel of distribution has already been decided, the distribution model pinned down. You are making your creation available, visible and competitive. Then you hold your breath. Once the product is introduced, markets by large reacts. When it does, your sustainability will largely depend on how your product makes good at delivering what it has promised.
All you worry now are competitive advantages that you can sustain.

When you are first deciding on online marketing in order to promote your business online, the main online marketing methods that you will encounter are Organicsearch engine optimisation and Pay per click advertising such as Google Adwords.
Organic search engine optimisation and Pay pr click advertising are the two main methods of online marketing. Both these forms of online marketing are aimed at getting highly targeted visitors to your website by making your website rank on search engine results for the keywords that you are targeting.
Ideally a business needs to utilise both in order to get the maximum exposure for their business online. However cost and budget considerations often result in a business having to make a choice between the two.
Organic search engine optimisation refers to the search results that appear in the main centre section of the search results. Ranking within organic search engine results cannot be bought and ranking is a result of organic non-biased steps taken over a period of time. It is dependent on the overall popularity of your website on the internet in general among other on site factors. Organic listings are the results that appear in the main section of a search engine such as Google when we search for something. Pay per click advertising on the other hand refers to the paid listing or sponsored results that appear on the right of the search results page and not in main middle section of the page.
Pay per click result is paid for and results are almost immediate to achieve. However there are many drawbacks. The recent years have seen an exponential rise in competition and a steep rise in pay per click costs. Click fraud is another rising concern where an advertiser may be charged for clicks that are not by genuine customers.
1) Many surveys and search engine marketing studies have pointed than users are more likely to click on organic search results that appear on the main section of the page rather than the paid listings that appear as ads on the right.
2) Organic listings are non-biased and cannot be bought. As such users trust the results more than the paid listings which are a result of paid advertising. The conversion rate for organic listings is much higher than for paid listings.
3) Rising cost of pay per click. Pay per click campaigns are becoming more and expensive day by day as competition is increasing. It is common now a days to be pay as much as £1 or £2 per click for a op 5 position in pay per click campaigns like Google ad words.
4) The results of organic search engine optimisation campaign are more permanent that pay per click. In pay per click the results stop almost immediately at the end of the campaign whereas in organic listings the rank remains.
Pay per click advertising also has its advantages and is a much quicker way to get results. This is useful to advertise events and other marketing campaigns that cannot be planned months in advance. Organic search engine optimisation is a time consuming task and listings often take months to achieve.
In the long run investing an organic search engine optimisationis beneficial and vital in website marketing. It has lower costs and offers a high return on investment. Once a favourable ranking has been achieved it is more permanent. In pay per click the results will stop immediately when the payment has stopped and the campaign comes to an end. Organic search engine optimisation (SEO) campaign also has a wider coverage and generates maximum exposure for your business.
Any organic campaign in order to achieve first page rank in Google will focus on a variety of techniques not only submission to search engines, e.g. directory submissions, press releases, article marketing and social media marketing. All this is important in order to generate quality back links to your website and will most certainly be covered in any organic search engine campaign that is run on behalf of your website.
Organic search engine optimisation is hence a better rounded approach to online marketing and has a much wider coverage. Although you may not see the result within the first few months it will be an extremely useful marketing investment for any business. The benefits of an organic search engine optimisation far outweigh any risks involved with investing in a one year organic search engine optimisation campaign.

Foreign investors have always feared entering into the China market due to culture differences and language barriers. Many of them are worried that a change in their organization structure or a huge amount of capital will be needed when entering the China market. However, with the appropriate measures, a correct approach can be taken to ensure a smooth entry into China.
It took a long time and a huge effort of the government for China to become what it is today. The modern China is prospering and booming in its economy and the standard of living in China has been raised tremendously. In addition, the Chinese government has been supporting the growth of China’s economy whereby policies have been changed over the years to boost China’s revenue. China market is moving towards the direction where the market forces are the ones influencing the economic activities in China.
Huge global giants such as Coca Cola, Nike and Walmart had successfully entered into China and became a household name for themselves. Even though they may have the resources and capability to engage huge Market Research, this does not mean that smaller enterprises would not have the same success in China market. We have some guidelines on how foreign companies, regardless whether they are Multinational companies (MNCs) or small-medium enterprises (SMEs), can enter into China market and gained success thereafter.
1. Understanding the culture
The Chinese culture is a unique culture compared to the rest of the world. Being the only nation with the most number of Chinese nationals, China has a rich heritage and history which they are very proud of. Their culture values are what led them to what they have now.
The Chinese are very respectful to each other and thus, they tend to seek for others’ opinion before settling on a decision. Hence, a Chinese business negotiation would usually take much longer than what the foreign investors usually take in their own countries.
If both parties do not understand each other’s culture, the Chinese would think that the foreign companies are too hasty and impulsive with their decisions while the foreign investors would find the Chinese too long-winded with their decision.
There must be someone communicating the thoughts of the two parties to ensure that the locals and the foreigners have the same understanding of each other’s stand. Thus, most foreign companies would either engage a translator or a local organization to be the key link between the locals and them.
2. Establishing a relationship (“guan xi”)
Many companies would have heard of the term “guan xi” which is commonly used in China. The Chinese like to establish a good network in the market as they believe that having good relationships with others would allow them to work more efficiently. The locals prefer to work with others whom they are able to trust and speak their mind freely. Hence, the Chinese often work with companies whom they have “guan xi” with. Furthermore, having a good “guan xi” with the government would allow them with the upper hand as they would have a better idea on the correct administrative and registration procedures which they can reduce in waiting time and avoid spending unnecessary cost.
Most of the locals have some kind of “guan xi” with different parties hence, foreign companies would need to develop their business network and learn how to expand their “guan xi” around China.
3. Domestic competition
As more and more foreign investors enter into China, the domestic companies are improving as well. Benefiting from the country’s technology advancement and government’s support on knowledge and skills, the local companies are sharpening their marketing tactics and improving the quality of their products.
Thus, foreign companies should not expect a low-grade competition from the Chinese companies as they tend to have a higher market share due to their brand presence and the appropriate “guan xi”. In addition, the Chinese tend to have an inclination towards their own country’s products as the Chinese have a high sense of national pride.
One way for foreign companies to tackle this issue would be to ensure that their products would not appear too foreign to the locals and the foreign companies should try to understand how they are able to either work together with their local competition or to fight against them.

Internet marketing campaigns are meant to serve as advertisements for products and services which are marketed online. When a product is marketed through the internet it leads to lesser cost of information distribution to the people and it also has a broader coverage of customers. It is comparatively inexpensive as well and can be statistically evaluated also. For all this there needs to be an effective internet marketing campaign.
There are a few things that have to be kept in mind when an internet marketer plans Internet Marketing campaigns for a product or service. First and foremost the target customers have to be determined (whether they are male or female, whether they are working and if they are working, the nature of the job and their purchasing power). It is also important to determine the education level of the potential customers and how and when they might use the particular product. These can be determined by some simple surveys. The information gathered through this would help the internet marketer to plan the internet marketing campaign according to the nature of the target groups.
For the effective internet marketing campaigns the product ought to be visible to the others. These could be done through the pay per click programs and the search engine placements which determine how the product is ranked in all the search engines. The product can also be marketed effectively through all the newsletters and the advertisements that are placed in the web sites. The budget that is available also determines the size and coverage of internet marketing campaigns. The internet marketing campaign is determined after deciding upon the target groups, and placing of advertisements where it will have maximum exposure in the websites. Bartering and swaps also could be done with the other sites where information about your product is displayed in other sites and information about that site is displayed in yours.
In the content of the advertisement that has to be placed the focus is to be on the main feature of the product. The ads should be highlighted with words that can be identified and related to by the customers, like the emotional words such as joy, happiness, fun etc. The words that have to be used should be you and yours rather than the words like me and mine.
The effectiveness of the internet marketing campaigns can be measured through the website statistics and the PPC statistics. These statistics help you to calculate how many people have viewed your advertisement. Based on these data the advertisement can be replaced if it is not effective or it can be enhanced more by changing the content of the advertisement. The constant monitoring of these advertisements with the help of the statistical data leads to the success of the internet marketing campaigns.
Internet marketing campaigns are an effective an inexpensive way to popularize products and services on the internet. Internet marketers must determine their target customers and determine the extent and depth of their internet marketing campaigns if they hope to increase sales and profit. They should make use of Search Engine Optimization techniques in order to make their advertisements appear on the first page of search engine results.
