Wow…umm your not joking that is a mess.
Your best offensive option is a WR…
I give it a 2. I see some upside in Betts overcoming Portis about week 5. James will lose his fantasy value because of Shipp. Gonzalez has nobody to throw to him..
What happened? I really hope its a 20 team league, and you picked last. I’m sorry dude…I can’t even be this mean.
Good luck!!
Could the Ravens offense be in for a breakout season?
Posted by admin | Under Steve Clayton Friday Mar 5, 2010Last year, the Ravens ranked near among the best at not allowing sacks, along with teams such as Washington, Indy, San Diego, and St. Louis that all had excellent running games, but Jamal Lewis’s ineptitude cost them a running game.
Steve McNair was traded for after OTAs and didn’t even know the playbook last year. He threw 16 TDs in 15 games (was knocked out in the first 5 minutes of 2 others), while Kyle Boller, not a great QB by any standard, threw 5 in 2 games.
Consider the WR corps. Mark Clayton is a breakaway threat whose first 2 seasons are very similar to Chad Johnson’s. Derrick Mason is one of the best possession WRs in the NFL. Reports out of OTAs suggest that WR3 Demetrius Williams is the best of the group. They also have Todd Heap, who is one of the elite TEs in the NFL.
To be continued with more details…
Then there’s Willis McGahee. He believes he’s in the best shape he’s been in since he left college. He’s had none of the attitude problems that haunted him in Buffalo. He’s even been hanging out with Ed Reed, his college teammate, and Rey Lewis and is wearing the defense’s black visor. He appears to be bringing the defense’s attitude to the offense.
Don’t the Ravens look like a breakout offense going into this season? With the defense they’ve got, they could be unbeatable if they could just score points. They did lose 3 games last year by the scores of 13-3, 13-7, and 15-6 last year (they only lost one game in which they allowed over 20 points and McNair had a concussion and Boller failed in a last minute comeback attempt).
You’re obviously looking for a "yes" answer, but despite my hatred of sounding like a suckup I’d have to admit that they are headed in that direction. I wonder if the Ravens will pull off a "win one for Jonny Ogden" campaign like the Steelers did for Jerome Bettis. Maybe if Ray Lewis announces he will be retiring… But either way McGahee, McNair, Clayton, Mason, and great O-Line and Brian Billick calling the plays (instead of Fassel) sounds like a potent combination to me.
Who to play Week 11?
Posted by admin | Under Steve Clayton Wednesday Mar 3, 2010Ok this is what i have
RBs- Brian Westbrook (Definate Start), Chester Taylor (Top RB2 candidate), Edgerrin James, Maurice Morris
WRs- Andre Johnson (Thinkin definate start), Brandon Marshall, Steve Smith (Benching), Mark Clayton
I need to start 2 WRs and 2 RBs, I think I’m set on running back, but WR I really dont know who to start as WR2, any opinions?
I think you have the answer in your post. I would definitely stay away from Steve Smith this week. (Personally, I think he is the best WR of any WR but I don’t care who is QB for Car this week going up against Al Harris of GB) He has a knack of shutting down top WRs. Maybe not a knack, more of a, getting in their face off the line…. along with CW. So, Marshall for sure. He is hot ever since Javon has been out.
Chester should have a great game. First, he is on his final year of contract, so he needs to show case. Not to mention, he had 1400+ yards rushing last year. He is a MUST start.
Which Giants receiver should I draft? Manningham vs. Smith?
Posted by admin | Under Steve Clayton Monday Mar 1, 2010Which Giants receiver should I draft? Mario Manningham or Steve Smith? They are both available, but I’m not sure who will benefit my team the most.
Also, who should I drop in order to pick one of them up? Here is my current roster:
QB: Phillip Rivers, Byron Leftwich
RB: Clinton Portis, Julius Jones, Jamal Lewis
WR: Marques Colston, Michael Clayton, Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston, Josh Morgan
TE: Chris Cooley, Tony Scheffler
K: Ryan Longwell, Mason Crosby
D/ST: Steelers, Seahawks
i would pickup smith. eli goes his way more. he will get more catches which should lead to more points as the year progresses.

Your loaded… You must have picked around 8th to 10th and had things break very well for you.
You have 2 sleepers at TE so watch them closely. They are either great or you need to adjust there. other then that. I’d just suggest that you watch the waiver wire for upgrades on your bench as there always seems to be a decent player available…
Rate my team please??
Posted by admin | Under Steve Clayton Thursday Feb 25, 2010QB- Bulger, Delhomme
RB-Alexander, Green, Carnell Williams
WR-Clayton, Cotchery, Owens, Steve Smith
TE-LJ Smith, Randy McMichael
K-Gould
DEF- Panthers
Your RB’s are going to make or break you. If Alexander can come back to vintage Alexander and Green and Williams can stay on the field, you have a decent team (top 4). Otherwise you’ll be in the bottom half of your league.

They’re all playing Sunday so what are your opinions of who I should start?
haha this is funny we pretty much have the same exact fantasy football team. it looks like you pretty much hit the nail on the head on sit or start. you have the perfect amount of big names, and they are so much better than the guys you are benching.
qb – kitna goes over mcnair anyway, but even moreso because mcnair is injured
rb – Lt is a given any week, and mcgahee is clearly better than jerious norwood, and norwood is with a weak team and possibly split carries
wr – all 3 wr’s absolutely exploded last week, why not give them another go this week.
te – sure, tony gonzalez sucked last week, but he is still better than 95% of te’s in the league. gotta stick with the proven vet.
def – im not sure if you are starting 1 or 2 defenses, but if you are starting 1, go with dallas. i have them, and they choked in week 1. but they are the highest payed defense in football…they gotta produce.
Fantasy Football WR Free Agent Question?
Posted by admin | Under Steve Clayton Sunday Feb 21, 2010I had a Round 1 bye, and I am for week 16 in my first playoff game, I presently have Braylon Edwards, Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, and Sidney rice as my Wide Recievers. I start 3 of 4. I am contemplating dropping Edwards because of Ken Dorsey being the starter in Cleveland.
Questions are as follows:
1: do I keep Edwards, if not then see question 2
2: should I pick Donnie Avery, Steve Breaston, Mark Clayton, Michael Jenkins, Devin Hester, Ted Ginn Jr. or Patrick Crayton..
Give me an honest opinion and I’ll give you a fair shot at the 10 points..
Braylon Edwards has the worse hands in football. Wouldn’t he be better off being a cornerback if he’s gonna get his hands on the ball and drop it? Drop him.
You already have the two most underrated receivers in the league (Johnson boys) who aren’t going to the playoffs (meaning no bench time) so you can afford to have a wideout worthy only of a flex spot. Steve Breaston is probably the best of these since the Cards throw so damn much. Yes they got NE and the coaching staff will try to figure out what the Vikes did, but the talent in the secondary still isn’t there and they can’t double cover all three of these guys.
Devin Hester is another to consider. Just as big a playmaker as Breaston, if not more. Too bad he isn’t returning many kicks anymore and his replacement is just as good at it.
Niche Blueprint Introduction
Posted by admin | Under Steve Clayton Saturday Feb 20, 2010
Tim Godfrey and Steven Clayton will be releasing the follow up to their extremely successful ‘Commission Blueprint’ course that spurred a revelation in the Internet Marketing Industry. Commission Blueprint sold over 24,000 in the last 3 months. There were many success stories related with Commission Blueprint and the anticipation of its sequel has been tremendous.
Their upcoming product is called “Niche Blueprint” and it will be launched on 12th January 2009. Book this date in your calendar with a bold red pen. Niche Blueprint is an ultra comprehensive course that will reveal the exact strategies used by Tim Godfrey and Steven Clayton to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars each and every year by setting up simple niche E-commerce sites.
Two extremely successful businessmen named David and Michael Hermansen with years of experience in E-commerce business, have teamed up with Tim and Steve on this project. Niche Blueprint is the most revolutionary and unique product to hit the internet in years. The purpose of Niche Blueprint will be to teach people the art of e-business with niche sites. The course is quite exhaustive and contains 23 videos and 26 manuals
Some of their own successes in the niche e-business model have been featured in both the New York Times and on Fox News and as you will see, they have some incredible income proof from a various sites making huge amount of cash in obscure and unheard markets such as ‘Sewing Machines’ and ‘Train Horns’.
You will even see an example of a ‘child simple’ website selling ‘Bird Cages’ (imagine) that was recently flipped for $173,000! (Site flipping means to create a site, profit a bit if possible, and sell it)
Their course is unlike anything I have ever seen in the market and will surely eliminate most of the problems that most internet marketers face while trying to generate income online. The system does not involve selling ebooks, or software, or affiliate promotion; Which basically translates to : ‘No competition’
What really sets Niche Blueprint apart from other internet marketing products is that to make money with this system, you don’t need a product, an email list, any affiliates or even joint venture partners.
You also don’t need any additional investment, website skills or any online business experience at all. In other words, literally anyone can yield profitable businesses with this and the best part is that it takes almost no time to setup your business.
I have also heard that they have even gone as far as creating a new web hosting company and replicating a number of other services related to the niche e-commerce business model, so that there is literally nothing else to buy once you have access to the course. We all know that 2009 is going to be a economically tough year . There are going to be a lot of job losses no matter which country you live in and as a result there could be a very strong possibility that you will need some sort of financial back up if the unthinkable happens.
If you can read and follow step by step instructions, then you’ll be able to follow this amazing course and build your own $1 million E-commerce empire!
